Nikki and Michelle's top picks
We're both busy working mums and we wanted to share some of our top activities for keeping the kids entertained.
We've checked out every activity featured and used a lot of them with our own kids. So if you only look at 5 activities while you're here, these are our favourites.
Our top five
Nikki says "If your kids are Potter mad like mine, or have just discovered the magic, they will love this. Not only is it packed with craft ideas, quizzes, puzzles and trivia you can finally find out what house you’re in! "
Nikki says "This fun, dance mat style typing game has been a real hit in our house. With school work coming via Google Classroom, it’s really helped my kids get familiar with the keyboard and confident sending messages and work back to school online. "
Nikki says "This wonderfully written digital book has been created to help explain the Coronavirus to our children. Illustrated by the fabulous Axel Scheffler (of Gruffalo and Room on the Broom fame) it has really helped my kids understand these very strange times. "
Nikki says "If you’re finding PE with Joe a bit too much, or your little ones struggle to stay engaged for the full 30 minute lesson, check out this collection of much shorter kids workouts Joe has on his YouTube channel. You’ll soon get them moving again. "
Nikki says "I’m not sure who was more excited about his in our house. We’re performing arts mad so being able to watch one of Andrew Lloyds Webber’s musicals for free each week is such a treat. Streaming each Friday, they are available for 48 hours after, so grab some popcorn and settle in. "
